Glacier Trip Hungry Horse (Day 2)

Here we go. Day 2. We spent Friday night and Saturday night in Hungry Horse. We went to the center of the vortex and back. Also went through Glacier Park. Here are some pictures.

We have arrived and the wild life was restless.

Roughing it in the "wild". They took great naps though.

Had to toss a little disc. Kept P and H busy for a while.

Run away........it be teh Vortex!

Help i am shrinking...no growing.....I am a giant....I am shrinking.....

"Is this crap real?" Sarah is checking out the signage.

You have to be touristy when the opportunity presents itself. To not be would be uncouth.

The lil gurlz just hanging out.

Glacier Trip 1st Night!

Here are the pics from the Glacier trip. It was a great time with good friends. Even if I managed to offend a few. Yep, I am that guy at least once a year. Fun 3 days away from the grind.

This is the pic of the caravan on the way out July 3rd at 5:30 p.m. Pointed north.

This is the camp spot set up. After many dead ends on finding an open camp site, this turned up at the end of a dead end road. It was a great spot minus the man sized mosquitos.

This is a pic of 2 great friends of ours. "K" looks relaxed for sure. I need to find out if that was due to the great outdoors or the great Beefeaters. Who knows.

I liked this pics of the moon. It shows that lack of populous that we all strive for every so often. You have to love the Northwest at times.

Great day for a morning hike. The wife and the kids head out in search of bears, or so my son thought. Good news was they were fruitless in their quest.

Packed up and headed out to the next camp site in Hungry Horse, MT. Great first night even with a slight headache the next morning. Headed north happy and recharged. What we didn't know was the vortex awaited our arrival.

Great music....maybe some of the best.

The group is JJ Grey and Mofro. If you have not heard them click on the link and buy their albums when you are done with the teasers. Their music will give a soul even if you are void of one. Damn this is great music!

Tell me what you think. They have tour stops close to Helena, and I would love to see someone book them here. That would be b*tchin for sure.

The grand ol' 4th!

Well July 4th weekend is knocking at the door begging to come in. You ever have that feeling of running over to the door to fling it open, only to stop with your hand on the knob thinking of all the crap you have to get accomplished so you can enjoy the weekend? Well that is where I am at today. One foot out the window with work tugging me back into the building. Jumping would be so worth it this time.
The fam and friends are headed to Glacier National Park this weekend. We leave tonight will camp somewhere along the way, and then onto Hungry Horse for the remaining 2 nights of fun. Anyone have comments on where we should go, or what we should see? I am all ears.
I was able to look at some vacation pics of a Facebook friend of mine on her trip through Glacier. Great pics. I went to school with Amy so it is not like I am THAT creepy. Here are some pics I can rustle up from Google.

T-ball!

Yes it is that time. Time for my little sports fan to go live. He loves all sports, but has a special place in his heart for baseball and hockey. P is a great kid with all the heart to do well. He gets frustrated at times, but never hangs em up so to speak. I hope he continues to have this conviction in life. He will go far if he does. Here are few pics from his current t-ball endeavor.

The final pics.

I had to atleast get up my finals of the fireplace. I know it is extremely late, but I have been busy. Life.....who would have thought that it takes time.

Let me know what y'all think of it. Also, if you want one, that can done.
